Welcome to the Ag Silver's website.
The Ag Silvers is a local senior women's competitive 3-on-3 basketball team organized in 2009 for the purpose of competing in the Brazos Valley Senior games held in College Station, Texas in 2010.
Our ages range from 60 - 76.
Our goals:
- Fun and fellowship with other women in our age group.
- Promotion of good health and fitness habits through regular exercise.
- Competition and qualification in the area and state Senior Games in order to compete in the 2011 Senior Olympics to be held in Houston, Texas.
The Ag Silvers are the only teams comprised totally of local residents. There are three teams in the following age brackets: 60-64 AgSilvers "Y", 65-69 AgSilvers "M" and 70+ AgSilvers "O".
